Step 1: Evaluate Options & Confirm Availability
We invite you to explore our wedding cake page and review the design options available. If you’re interested in a fully custom cake, please note our minimums of $200 for a single tier and $600 for multi-tier designs. Simply submit an inquiry with your event details, and we’ll review our availability and follow up to confirm your wedding date.
Step 3: Pick Out Your Dream Cake
Let us know which flavor(s) you’ve selected, and we’ll finalize your cake design details via email or phone. You’ll choose a buttercream finish for the exterior, then select the cake size based on your guest count. We’ll guide you through the process with personalized recommendations to ensure your cake is perfectly sized and beautifully proportioned for both your guest list and your venue.
Step 2: Cake Tasting and consultation
We offer personalized cake tastings and consultations to help you confidently choose the perfect flavors and design for your wedding cake. During your consultation, we’ll review your vision, style, color palette, guest count, and any special details you’d like included. You’ll also receive a curated tasting box featuring a selection of our most popular cake and filling combinations.
This process ensures your cake is not only beautifully designed but crafted with flavors you truly love. To schedule a tasting and consultation, simply submit an inquiry—we’d be delighted to assist.
Step 4: Order Confirmation & Payment
Once you’ve picked out your design, we’ll discuss the logistics of delivery or pickup with you, and we’ll invoice you for payment of your cake. Payments are typically split into two (i.e. 50% upon booking, and 50% two weeks before your wedding). If your event will take place within four weeks of booking, we require payment in full upfront to confirm your order.
Step 5: Submit Final RSVPs
Send us your final RSVP total no later than 3 weeks out. We’ll adjust the order accordingly, and confirm your final balance due (if relevant). Your balance must be settled no later than 14 days prior to your wedding.
If there are any design details outstanding from Step 3 (i.e. floral design or color palette) that have since been finalized with your florist or planner, we’ll wrap these up with you by 4-6 weeks out.
Step 6: Cake Delivery
If your cake will be delivered by us, you can relax while we coordinate with your event planner and handle setup on the day. Tiered cakes require delivery. Delivery is included within 30 miles; additional fees apply beyond this range (excluding Berkshire couples).
If you choose to pick up your cake, or have someone collect it for you, we’ll provide clear handling instructions and assist with loading to ensure safe transport.
